Altrusa International, Inc. > Meredith Club

The Meredith Altrusa Club was chartered in 1981 under the direction of our first president, Dr. Jeannette Ritzenthaler, as a “spin-off” from our sister club, the Laconia, NH chapter. We are pleased to be celebrating out 30th year anniversary in 2011!

Located in the heart of the Lakes Region, our quaint and historic village of Meredith, New Hampshire serves as the latchkey to the majestic White Mountains.

We are fortunate to be able to enjoy four seasons of outdoor fun and relaxation right in our own backyard….. boating, sailing, swimming, cruising, hiking, biking, camping, fishing, tax free shopping, antiquing, fall foliage viewing, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and more!

Nestled among New Hampshire's largest lakes, Meredith’s historic old-fashioned charm and friendly atmosphere combine with the natural beauty of lakes and mountains surrounded by the neighboring towns of Laconia, Weirs Beach, Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Holderness, Sandwich, Wolfeboro, Bristol, and New Hampton.
